Turned the left over Malagache Stew into a more Northern African dish. Brought 2 cans of chickpeas, tsp cumin, tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp smoked paprika, cup water, tsp chicken base to a boil and simmered for 10 minutes. Put remaining stew in and brought it to boil then served over brown rice. Yum!
Although I was making it for later in the day and it was only 10 am my son had no qualms about eating it as soon as it was ready.
