Chocolate Chip Pretzel Bars (from Brown Eyed Baker)

These are like blondies with an added crunchy-saltiness.  Yum!  I used the thin semi-sweet chocolate discs from Trader Joe’s.  I coarsely chopped them in the package (while on the phone with a friend who wondered what on Earth that awful racket was!). 

I added pecans to one portion and didn’t add the optional ingredients, but will try the peanut butter next time.
